The Nervous System

Human Body Redesign : The Nervous System

Body System Function:

The nervous system is about action and senses. The nervous system is whole reason why you're able to do things. The nervous system helps you sense your surroundings. It helps you sense things that might be coming your way, like a car, and tell you get out of the way. As you eat, your nervous system will start to digest and release hormones. As you can see, the nervous system is mainly about action and senses.

Organs:

Brain: It coordinates all your actions and thoughts.

Spinal Cord: It help tract and pull away your muscles based on thoughts and reflexes.

Neurons: It helps send back-and-forth the messages throughout your body.

One Organ's Structure and Function:

Personally I think the main function of the nervous system is the the brain. I think this because the brain coordinates your thoughts and actions. Without the brain, you wouldn't be able to do anything. You kinda need something to control you to actually do something. In other words, all your all the things you do and think are because of your brain. As you can see, I think the main function is the brain.

Interactions with Other Systems:

The nervous system doesn't work alone. It interacts with every other system in the human body. For example, oxygen and blood that transported from the circulatory system is required for the nervous system to work. The muscular system helps the nervous system, by helping you move around. Other systems, like the digestive and urinary system controls when you pee and poop. So, mainly all the systems in the human body helps the nervous system, by controlling your thoughts, and when you go to the restroom.

Analogy

The brain like the nervous system because a brain helps humans think.
In the nervous system, it help control what you think, you have the nerves to do it.
The spinal cord in both help bring the thoughts to the body.

Redesign

I would add a way of connection from the brain to the body, a connection like bluetooth. A way where two things doesn't have to have physical contact to in order to be connected. I would do this, because a retired NWBA basketball player said that when he had an accident, his legs couldn't send messages to his brain, and his brain couldn't send messages to his legs, so he couldn't walk. If I could add this connection, the brain / parts of the body would be able to send messages to the brain / other parts of the body, without physically connecting.
