Body System Function:

The digestive system's job to break down food. When you are hungry, you eat food. Where does that food go? In your digestive system, where all the food gets broken down, all into a pulp. after that, it travels through your intestine and then to our stomach. So, the digestive system break down food.

Organs:

Esophagus: It squeezes food down into the stomach.

Stomach: Stores food. Food is turned and mixed with enzymes.

Intestine: This is where food is absorbed.

One Organ's Structure and Function:

Personally, I think the main function of the digestive system is the esophagus. I think this because the esophagus helps squeeze the food down into the stomach. In order to get food down into the stomach, you need an esophagus. Without it, the food be going somewhere else, or would be staying in the same place. Even though, you need a stomach to store food, you still need something to get food to the stomach. As you can see, I think the main function of the digestive system is the esophagus.

Interactions with Other Systems:

The digestive system doesn't wok alone. The digestive system interacts with the circulatory system. The digestive system help break down your food. The circulatory help get the absorbed nutrients go throughout your body. It also helps carries chemical signals the help the digestion. Both systems help each other. So as you can see, the digestive doesn't work alone, it works with the circulatory system.

Analogy

This food processor is like the digestive system, because a pathway, grinds up food into a pulp.
In the digestive system, food goes through the esophagus, which broken down and go through the stomach.

Redesign

I would have two esophagus. The reason is, if you eat a lot of food, or if there's too much food, it would be way much faster to get food digested, and get it to the stomach, if you had two esophagus.
