The Muscular System

Human Body Redesign : The Muscular System

Body System Function:

The muscular system's function is movement. The muscular system helps you move, whether you want to or not. You don't have control on most of the muscular system. That's called an organ called, involuntary muscle. Voluntary muscles are under conscious control which means, it moves based on your  mind. So the muscular system help you move.

Organs:

Voluntary Muscle: This is found in other organs. It's job to move substances around the organ.

Cardiac Muscle: This is only in the heart. It's job is to pump blood throughout the body.

Smooth Muscle: This is only voluntary, which means it move consciously, which moves on your mind.

One Organ's Structure and Function:

Personally, I think the main function of the muscular system is the cardiac muscle. I think this, because the cardiac muscle helps pump blood throughout the body, from the heart. In order to move, you need blood and energy. Blood helps, support to matin our body. Without the cardiac muscle, you have blood, being pumped, and you wouldn't be able to move. The other two muscles/organs move you around. But in order to move, you kinda need the cardiac muscle to pump blood around. As you can see, I think the cardiac muscle is the main function of the muscular system.

Interactions with Other Systems:

The muscular system doesn't work alone. The muscular system interacts with the nervous system. The muscular system help you move. With the nervous system, you need neurons from the nervous system to help you move. Both the systems help each other. As you can see, the muscular system interacts with the nervous system.

Analogy

http://scantoolcenter.com/blog/of-cars-and-car-faults/
This car engine is like the muscular system, because a car engines need to be precise and working, to be able to have the car working.
Like the muscular system, the bones and blood produced help you move, with the main organs above.
The muscles in the system is like the circuits in the engine. If one doesn't work, it ruins the whole thing, and you can't function it.

Redesign

I would add another main organ that is only involuntary. The smooth system is only voluntary, so there should be another one. In this own organ, it moves all on it's own, whether you want it too, or not. As you can see, I would add another main organ.
